Waste paper can be turned into useful products. One of the most popular 'conversions' is newspaper into animal bedding.

Other forms of paper can be used depending upon the animals involved. The most critical part of providing a finished product to customers is the source of raw material. The easiest to proccess is 'overun', newspapers that never got sold or read. Loose, used newspapers take longer to sort and shred so output is slower. Also Cardboard is an alternative to newspaper.
